Water-Resistant Construction: The WVSport Montreux Trek Boots feature a sealed tongue up to the top D-ring and a Spotex waterproof lining (PFC/PFA free).       Clean the uppers and outsoles with warm soapy water and a cloth or brush.

      Dry down thoroughly with a towel.

      Polish can be used to bring out a shine and return the colour. Any synthetic product should work just fine. Apply as described in the instructions.

      If your footwear has a burnished effect on the toes and sides (WVS apply a darker polish to some of thei brown vegan leather uppers for effect) this is best reapplied by a cobbler or it can be done at home by using a darker shade of polish around the toes and sides of the footwear.

      You can treat the uppers with a waterproofing spray to improve durability, stain resistance and water resistance.

      WVS recommend doing this every 2-3 months with their waterproof products, depending on usage.

      Do not let your footwear stay damp between wears (especially inside the boots), as this can damage the water resistance and create an environment for microbes to develop in the footwear, which can cause a smell to develop.
