Deaf Identity was founded in September 2019 by Luke Christian, who felt that in a world where diversity was being celebrated and shown throughout various media outlets, he was still yet to see this for deafness.

Being born deaf into a deaf family where the deaf gene is prominent, he wanted to mix his love for fashion whilst helping to bring awareness.
