Smart black brogue school shoes with classic medallion detail on the toe

Breathable and water resistant. Deep tread durable, grippy and flexible rubber outsoles. Cushioning non crush down insoles made with recycled rubber. Uppers are made from Italian vegan leather made with plants using bio oil (sourced from organic cereal crops grown in Northern Europe) in a carbon neutral process.

Please note -Most of Will's footwear and accessories are made from Italian bio-based vegan leather made from plants (cereal crops).
The latest version contains 69% bio-oil and a viscose (a natural material from eucalyptus trees) backing fabric.
This material does still have 31% polyurethane in its composition, so there is still some plastic. Because of the nature of the material, it is not biodegradable, but it is recyclable. With WVS you can also use their return to recycle service when this product's at its end of life. 

We choose to only sell a carefully selected  products which contain a percentage of plastic based materials from responsible brands.  We know first hand how some schools insist on smart school shoes, and how difficult it can be to find good quality and affordable vegan leather school shoes.

Care info

Vegan leather uppers

Clean the uppers and outsoles with warm soapy water and a cloth or brush.

Dry down thoroughly with a towel.

Polish can be used to bring out a shine and return the colour. Any synthetic product should work just fine. Apply as described in the instructions.

If your footwear has a burnished effect on the toes and sides (WVS apply a darker polish to some of the brown vegan leather uppers for effect) this is best reapplied by a cobbler or it can be done at home by using a darker shade of polish around the toes and sides of the footwear.

You can treat the uppers with a waterproofing spray to improve durability, stain resistance and water resistance.

WVS recommend doing this every 2-3 months with their waterproof products, depending on usage.

Do not let your footwear stay damp between wears (especially inside the boots), as this can damage the water resistance and create an environment for microbes to develop in the footwear, which can cause a smell to develop.

If this happens, thoroughly dry the footwear and use a footwear deodoriser until the smell stops. In extreme cases, you may need to wash out the insides of the footwear with warm soapy water. Once you have done this, thoroughly dry them out and apply the footwear deodoriser.

You can dry your footwear directly on top of a radiator or near to another heat source. Depending on the heat source, it can take a few days to dry out the inside of our footwear completely.

Do not wash in the washing machine.

Vegan suede uppers

Wait until dry, then brush with a suede brush or something similar.

You can clean with warm, soapy water and a cloth or brush for more extreme cases.

You should not expect water marks as the material does not mark or stain like conventional suede when wet.

You can treat the uppers with a waterproofing spray to improve durability, stain resistance and water resistance.

Unless your item is made to order, our brands usually dispatch items within 1-2 business days of your order. Orders placed on a weekend or bank holiday day will be collected the next working day.

Shipping usually takes 2-4 days but can take longer depending on where you and the brand is based. We are unable to control whether there are postal strikes or other factors that may affect delivery time.

Returns & Exchanges

You can return free of charge. You have a 14 days from receiving order to inform us of your wish to return, and then a further 14 days from the day you notify us to send back the item/s.
