PEOPLE
Sustainability comes as standard at Ran By Nature, but they care about people and production just as much as the planet. Being an ethical business with integrity means everything to them, they always stand by their word, and stay true to their mission of giving people from all backgrounds, ages and sizes the confidence to enjoy exercise in nature.
Based around their core beliefs as a business, their code of conduct holds themselves and everyone they work with to the highest standards. To make sure that their products are made by workers who are paid fairly, they visit their manufacturing facilities. They make sure that their manufacturers pay at least the local living wage or more. They also make sure to check on them every year.
You can trust that anyone who works with Ran by Nature is always safe, healthy and paid a fair wage. From the people who make their garments, down to the freelancers who help design their graphics and logos, everyone is treated fairly, kindly and respectfully.
They support the UN’s sustainable development goals.
In particular:
Goal 5 - Empower women and girls and ensure their equal rights.
Goal 10 - Reduce inequalities
They also work in line with the Fair Labor Association’s code of conduct, respecting the International Labour Organisations five fundamental principles and rights at work, as well as The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the The United Nations Global Compact.

A huge part of their mission is about giving back and including everyone. They have pledged £1 from every order to charity.
Their dream is to become a B corp so they can put all of their profits back into charities and initiatives that get underrepresented groups into sports and activity. Maybe that’s funding a disabled person to become a personal trainer or helping to sponsor a BAME swimming club in the UK.
