PEOPLE
Neem is a lifestyle brand founded by Nick Reed.
Nick believes that sustainable living and fun living go hand in hand. He doesn't believe you have to sacrifice style to live ethically.
Neem only work with responsible factories who share their vision of sustainability and treats their workers in a fair and just manner. They carefully chose makers and producers they know and trust and they personally know their makers by name. Together, they strive to redefine excellence in sustainable fashion.
All products are made with care, and are a result of a transparent supply chain. They care about more than producing circular menswear garments. They want to become a positive and regenerative force in society and for the planet.
By shopping with Neem London, you’re investing in projects that they personally select. As Neem evolve and grow they will to help to shape a prosperous society on a thriving planet, for us and future generations.

PLANET
Neem are bananas about sustainability, and they have created a circular supply chain. They try to produce close to their market to reduce carbon emissions and they run life cycle analyses and offset to achieve zero-carbon on much of their range by;
-Partnering with Green Story, to measure and manage their environmental impact.
-Carbon offsetting, via SimpliZero which has a large library of projects they support.
In a nutshell, all of Neem's clothes are made from either recycled, regenerative or renewable fibers and are produced in solar-powered mills and by makers which have zero-discharge of hazardous chemicals (ZDHC).Their products are made to last longer and, when they are worn, can be returned and recycled with their ‘Take Back Scheme’. All returned product is sent to their recycle partner. Textile waste is then reused used as a raw material resource, diverting it from landfill and incineration.

ANIMALS
Neem source their wool from The New Zealand Merino Company Ltd. This exceptional fibre boasts certifications for both animal welfare and environmental standards, proudly upholding a non-mulesed wool standard through ISO/IEC 17065:2012 and third-party auditing services.
ZQ embodies the ‘zen balance’ between IQ and EQ – where IQ represents scientific and technological advancements in farming, and EQ symbolises connections with land, animals, and people. This unique fusion, as highlighted by Vogue Business, encourages brands to establish meaningful connections with growers, steering clear of the commodity market.
Embracing Animal Welfare, ZQ ensures the five basic freedoms for its Merino sheep - thirst, natural living, freedom from discomfort, distress, and disease. Additionally, Environmental Sustainability is integral, with ZQ adapting to high country conditions in the mountainous South Island.
You can be confident that the sheep producing the wool are humanely treated, well fed, live natural and healthy lives, and not subjected to mulesing, which means they also produce fibre of the very highest quality and performance.
This style of farming also improves soil quality and reduces carbon footprint and therefore produces the world’s most ethical wool. The merino is even traceable right back to the farm.
Neem do not use down, fur, angora, exotic animal skin, or exotic animal hair.
