PEOPLE
Born and raised by the seaside of Sweden, Founder Robert fell in love with fashion at an early age and had a vision of being able to make beautiful garments that his family could afford.
After studying fashion in his home county and London and then interning at a large fashion house, he began to realise the reality of the fashion industry and fell out of love with the industry as a result.
Fast forward 5 years and Robert found himself sketching in a friend's kitchen and he was reminded of why he fell in love with fashion in the first place - the artistry, the craftsmanship.
Ingmarson's eco-friendly collection is made using ethically sourced and organic fabrics and garments are embroidered on- demand locally in London.
PLANET
Ingmarson's vision is to be an exemplar brand and trusted source for affordable sustainability and to show other small businesses that it is possible to produce sustainably.
All their cotton garments are certified as 100% GOTS certified organic.
100% of the raw materials for their embroidery threads come from sustainable forestry and are pollutant-free, and along with the backing used for embroidery, are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, come from ISO-approved processes, are free from APO/ PE plasticisers.
Packaging is made from 90% recycled material and is fully recyclable and has been printed using water-based ink.
They are conscious that the production of garments has waste, and to minimise this, they recycle waste yarn back into the knitting process, and upcycle waste yarn by using it to attach their swing tags.
ANIMALS
Ingmarson's wool is sourced from Italy by a spinner who is among the few spinners able to control directly its entire supply chain. Origin, traceability and compliance to the standards of Textiles & Health are certified and guaranteed.
