Our Brands
Our vision is simple. Fashion shouldn’t cost the earth.
The reality is that the way we make, use and throwaway our clothes is unsustainable. Textile production contributes more to climate change than international aviation and shipping combined, consumes lake-sized volumes of fresh water and creates chemical and plastic pollution. Synthetic fibres are being found in the deep sea, in Arctic sea ice, in fish and shellfish. Our biggest retailers have ‘chased the cheap needle around the planet’, commissioning production in countries with low pay, little trade union representation and weak environmental protection. In many countries, poverty pay and conditions are standard for garment workers, most of whom are women. There is a concerning use of child labour, prison labour, forced labour and bonded labour in factories and the garment supply chain.

All of our brands share our desire for a better world. They care about the Environment, Animals and the People who produce their clothes. This is why we have handpicked them and curated a selection of their pieces for you.
When you shop with Another Now you can relax in the knowledge that we've done our research.
We aim to make all the information on our brands and their processes completely transparent and we strive to make the best choices for the planet, so that you can too.
We have strict criteria for the products that we sell:
- We don't sell leather, suede or fur. All vegan leather products must be PVC free and use as much recycled and plant based material as possible.
- We only sell a very small selection of wool products from brands who we feel are producing it in a way which fits with our values. Detailed information will be listed on the product pages so that you can make your own informed decision.
- All cotton must be 100% organic.
- All brands must support and insist on ethical and fair working conditions, and provide us with fair-factory certification, along with up-to-date information about their supply chain & photographs of their factories, which we display on our product pages.
- We do not sell products which are produced using harmful or toxic chemicals or over-consumption of water.
- We do not sell products which are made from Virgin polyester.
- All of our pieces are handpicked because we believe they are created beautifully and made to last.
- We do not sell products made from silk or peace silk. (only vegan alternatives to silk)
We also champion the use of natural sustainable materials over synthetics such as organic cotton, linen, tencel, lyocell, hemp & bamboo silk because at the end of their life cycle these will bio-degrade. We support brands who are adopting circular fashion, using recycled materials and using renewable energy to power their factories ie solar energy. We also look out for brands who produce their garments locally which reduces carbon emissions and supports local communities.
