All of our brands share our desire for a better world. They care about the Environment, Animals and the People who produce their clothes. This is why we have handpicked them and curated a selection of their pieces for you.
All brands & products we sell meet the following criteria:
MANUFACTURING
In addition to meeting our standard of being rated in the top two categories of 'Good' or 'Great' by Good on You, or being assessed by us using the same criteria, all brands we sell meet the following criteria:- Support ethical, fair, safe and hygienic working conditions.
- Have low impact manufacturing processes, including water and energy consumption, chemical use as well as employ closed loop technology.
- We choose not to sell leather or suede. All vegan leather products must be PVC free and use as much recycled and plant based material as possible.
- We only sell a very small selection of wool products from brands who we are confident are producing it in a way which is cruelty-free. Detailed information per garment will be listed on the product pages so that you can make your own informed decision
- We do not sell silk, or even peace silk. We choose plant based bamboo silk or cupro only.
- We do not sell garments made from virgin polyester, or other oil based fabrics.
- All cotton must be 100% organic.
- All garments must be made from sustainable and responsibly produced fabrics including recycled cotton, lyocell/tencel, organic linen, organic hemp, modal, ecovero/lenzing, piñatex (without non-biodegradable resins), apple eco leather, cork, scoby leather, s.cafe, woocoa, non-plastic buttons.
- We do sell recycled polyester and econyl because we believe this stops these materials going into landfill, but we are aware of the implications of micro-plastics being released into the eco system, so for this reason we recommend using a Guppyfriend bag to wash these items.
